All my strikers seem to fluff their chances even though they have great finishing and composure stats, Is there anything I can do to make them score more goals as this is frustrating. I dominate teams but miss my chances whereas opponents seem to get 2 chances and score both!

Have tried changing the training but nothing seems to work. It's not just one of my strikers either its also my subs - Walcott & Eastwood for e.g.

Confidence plays a massive part in FM07 - as in real life! If a player is on a run of poor scoring they seem to really snatch at their chances and the problem just gets worse.

I found organising a friendly against a terrible team (in my case my bottom-of-the-league U18s) worked well as it gave my strikers the opportunity to get a hatful of goals and get their confidence up.

There seems to be a slight bug where strikers in front of goal are concerned. One of the fixes in the new patch is a better shot selection for them as they apparentely don't realise whether they're at the near or far post when making a shot selection

This might be conincidental, but I had the same problem with Eto'o on my testsave with Barcelona. The solution was simply giving him run with ball - before RWB he had 0 goals in 10 matches and after he scored one or two in every single match thereafter
