It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

just buy centre backs who have good attributes for jumping and heading. i agree it is hard but these 2 attributes are essential. if you think this is hard....try being Newcastle utd!!! that is hard

Playing Arsenal, got Toure & Gallas as DC's. I am able to beat Bayern away, but next match I loose 2-4 to Sheffield. How logic is that. The whole game has become a lottery, with few & none tips how to tweak formations and individual orders.

Last copy of the game I have bought for sure.

In my opinion, fm is much better in terms of giantkilling, bcoz when u get bored of being the likes of liverpool, arsenal, chelsea and man utd etc u go a relegation battling side. On the old one i hated goin away to chelsea or liverpool bcoz i knew i was gna get beat, now i actually go there thinking i am going to win, its made the game more open in terms of giantkilling.

hi there mate i had the same problem with my game when i first started but now i hardley ever concede goals fromm crosses and it soooooooooooo use to do my head right in so me and my mate platyed games on our own at home and compared tatics players marking and everything and have since we have decided that this is the best way to handle this:

Make sure that ur full backs forward runs are set to rarely and all the other ones under that are also set to rarely,

Cross from deep then they wont be tempted to still run forward to reach the goal line!!! BIG TIP!!

Cross ball is always set to often also and mixed

Defensive mentality is set to 5 up from bottom
Creative Freedom also 5 up from bottom
Passing Direct 3 from top
Closing down is mixed bang in the middle
Tackling is hard to the top.

Hope this helsp mate it has me Cheers

Spot on. Crosses killed me too. Shame they find different ways to get round me though

Yup this version is by far the hardest, but I feel it is much more rewarding when you get wins now.

Jus wish one of my mates played this as much as me to help me out
