Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Attributes for a good AML and training

Ok so I got Marcelo and I atupidly retrained him as a DL. Now I'm trying to retrain him as a AML but after several months he's still ineffectual and my training seems to have no effect on his attributes. Looking at his profile under training, the bar graph shows the training progress (overall) at max for the past few months.
Ok so does anyone know what attributes are important for a good AML and what type of training to go with so my player can improve and become accomplished in the position of AML.

How do you want the AML to play, as you can have them do fiferent things. So depending on what you want from him, the stats will vary same as training.

Hahaha I was about to ask the same thing...an AML can play like a Ronaldo..Ryan Giggs. or he could be hopelessly boring like a Beckham kind of crosser

Um well, how about when receiving the ball, bring it forward along the flank and cross it to the striker?
Are the important attributes like crossing, dribbling, first touch etc?
Marcelo has high stat on those and hes now ineffectual as ML, natural as WBL and accomplished as DL. Can I still play him as AML and get good results?

If you want a good crosser.....

Off the ball
Pace
Crossing
Decisions

You could try playing him out of position...if he has the stats he should still be able to do the job
