what attributes should i look for in an assistant manager i am everton towards end of 2nd season and tottenham snapped alan irvine from me i can only offer 17,250 a week so ayesteran and queiroz are out of the question

Get Ricardo Moniz off Tottenham then. He's a great assistant.

What I usually look for is:

Motivating: 17+
Tactival Knowledge: 17+ (important if you want ass man to take control of your reserve/U18 games)
Working with Youngsters: 15+

And also, he should be a 6 or 7 star coach in atleast one aspect of coaching.

And ideally his determination & adaptability should be 15+ and 13+ respectively. But not very important imo.

There are different types of training no. Aerobic, Strength, Attacking, Defending etc etc. He should be a 6 star or 7 star coach in atleast any one of these areas. If you go to the training screen and then coaches, once you select a particular coach for any one area of training, you'll see next to it how good he is in that aspect (ranges from 1 star to 7 star, 7 being best). So your assistant should be a 6 or 7 star in any one of these areas.

Offer Moniz a contract as assistant and see if he accepts.
