Hello im playing football manager 2006 and im in my 2nd season and i have just achieved promotion from the conference south with lewes fc and i was headhunted for the managerial job at york city fc and the were in the national english conference. On my first match we were against Weymouth divusion leaders. I started off in 24th position (last) after 19 games.
In this should-be one-sided affair my side (york city) re-created absolute magic and were 7 - 0 up at 45 mins(half time). the 4th goal was a blistering 45 yard volley that lobbed the keeper from a virtually unknown player! (Higdon)
My side went into the 2nd half delighted with their first half performance and went on to score another 3 goals to increase their overall tally for the match to 10-0. To top it all off each and everyone of my players received a perfect 10 for their star performance. Two of my players scored a double brace in the game (Fleetwood and Forbes) and fleetwood recieved the man of the match award for his troubles.
Not bad for a first game ey??
