Default Copa Libertadores - A Dream To Far?

Leagues Loaded - All South American.. Plus England Full

Brazilian Third Division - Jaruense 2008

Reputation = Local
Media Prediction = 8th (Bottom)
Stadium Capacity = 4000
Value = 10k

No finances and a squad that didnt even have players for each position! Great.. Board wanted to fight bravely against relegation and cement status in the division within two seasons which eased pressure and media predicted relegation! Brought in players on free transfer and couple of loanees.. Managed to exceed expectation and finish 2nd in the State and pass through my initial group in the Third division which the board and the fans where delighted with.. I'm not sure how groups are set or the leagues are structured.. but the second stage the odds where stacked against me for each match greatly. enjoyed first season looking forward to the next.. finances where awful though..

State Championship - Pl - 14 W - 7 D - 3 L - 4 Pos - 2nd (Out Of 8)
Third Division 1st Stage - Pl - 14 W - 7 D - 4 L - 3 Pos - 1st (Out Of 8)
Third Division 2nd Stage - Pl - 6 W - 1 D - 4 L - 1 Pos - 3rd (Out Of 4)
Third Division Final Stage - N/A

Final Position = 3rd Second Stage Group
Average Attendance = 964

Brazilian Third Division - Jaruense 2009

Media Predict - 6th (Out of 8)

Feel like im getting a grip of LLM in Brazil now brought in a few more loan signings to match the experienced heads I'd signed the year before.. media predicted us to stay up but only just this time.. and the board and fans still were content with us to fight against relegation.. every win they were ecstatic.. made it through the third division first stage which again delighted the fans and board.. but second stage sides again proved much stronger I had odds of like 20-1 against me to win the home games and could only manage a single win and draw out of the 6 games. I'll give it another season possibly see if i can build on this but I'm starting to feel ive taken the club as far as I can! I've applied for the Boston River job in Uruguays bottom league.. if that fails I'll stay on another year!

State Championship - Pl - 14 W - 8 D - 3 L - 3 Pos - 3rd (Out Of 8)
Third Division 1st Stage - Pl - 14 W - 7 D - 4 L - 3 Pos - 2nd (Out Of 8)
Third Division 2nd Stage - Pl - 6 W - 1 D - 1 L - 4 Pos - 4th (Out Of 4)
Third Division Final State - N/A

Final Position - 4th Second Stage Group
Average Attendance - 1036

--

Brazilian Third Division - Jaruense 2010

Media Predict - 6th (Out Of 8)

Unfortunately the jobs I went for didn't come through so Instead of resigning I honoured the last year of my contract to see if i could better myself in the Third division. unfortunately this season was to end in disaster.. although a great start saw us runners up in the state championship playing really well.. we were outclassed through most of the first stage of the Third Division and were eventually relegated on the last day of the season! All the progress I made at this club has gone down the drain.. although the positives include experience of the division. a decent match record and learning to speak portuguese.. I never looked like taking this club any further than a half decent Third Division side.. onto pastures new!

State Championship - Pl - 14 W - 9 D - 1 L - 4 Pos - 2nd (Out Of 8)
Third Division 1st Stage - Pl - 14 W - 4 D - 1 L - 9 Pos - 8th (Out Of 8 Relegated)
Third Division 2nd Stage - N/A
Third Division Final Stage - N/A

Final Position - 8th First Stage Group (Relegated)
Average Attendance - 269

--

Overall Record At Jaruense

Pl - 96 W - 44 D - 21 L - 33 Goals For - 129 Goals Against - 92

Honours - Rondonia State Runners Up x2

- Next Update Will Be Much Shorter Promise.. Thought I'd Put A Little Detail Into The First One.

Got the same T shirt as you, Brazil is a tough nut.
I keep going back for more though

I only normally load the S American leagues for it, sometimes Central America too for a bit of variety.

Good luck on your journey.

Keep up the good work! The Brazilian lower leagues are really hard so don't feel bad about being relegated! Hopefully you'll have more luck in Argentina

I tried my hand at the Brazilian leagues a few weeks ago.

Was managing a team called Joinville, never really achieved much with them but was a decent enough league I thought.

Well I was predicted relegation in the first two seasons so I thought I did pretty well to get them to the second stage both times! Just fell apart third season.

Managing in Argentina is awesome imo. Been playing there the last few FM's and I love every minute of it.

The teams are all pretty equally matched and there are some class players about for small(ish) fees

I just got Tigre promoted to the Premier Division. However, the PC had to be taken into repair because of a faulty ethernet thingy-ma-bob at the back, found out the Hard Drive needed replacing So, got to start all over again. Great.
