As the title implies, with the release of 8.0.2 is it worth to start a new game with in my case: Manchester United??

I'm currently in the 2018/1019 season, and talent is seriously slipping! My team contains a average of 29 years old. Talent simply isn't available in the later years of FM, and i'd like to try a different approach with Manchester United and at the same time continue making Manchester United to most successful team. But is the patch 8.0.2 worth it?


I'd like to hear some opinions and views.

It seems the regen system wasn't tweaked in the 8.0.2 patch. So, It seems that taking your question into consideration the the answer would be no.

The only thing done was to tweak international pick ups so that some younger guys would be picked by the national sides.

In the sticky Miles says it's entirely save game compatible. Except for the data update obviously.
