I'm somewhat concerned at the fact Benjani's finishing ability has yet to have been improved, I mean, you the people at SI were quick enough to put it down after a fairly average season in the Premier League but the thing is, this season he has been awesome! I mean for someone to score 13 goals and bag 2 hat-tricks, you've got to have better finishing that 10 surely? Come on, think about this logically, any player to get criticsm in real life, you'll latch onto it and jump on the bandwagon in real life. Take Andriy Shevchenko for example, he's lacked fitness and he's been injured rather a lot and yet he's still made worse, why, why, why, why?
I'm baffled about your logic to be honest, quite frankly.
he may have scored 13 goals but does that mean his finishing is better than 10?
he may ahve scored alot from headers which means it would be his heading skill that done it.
or close range shots that dont particularly take good finishing skills to score.

anybody could have said benjani was sh!t last season, because he was missing many chances. but i must admit, he does have a crisp finish this season (3rd goal vs derby & various early in the season). i take it researchers don't judge a player from their armchair like we do.
he is better than 10 for finishing right now, that rating surely depends on when (or if) the pompey researcher watched him play early this season.
