regarding the jermaine defoe hickup . can anybody give me a step by step guide to correcting it , also once i have done it , will it be saved automatically or will i have to update it everytime i begin a new game ?

its not that hard...

any way

open up fm editor

press 'file' then 'load database'

go to 8.0.2 database

search for portsmouth

then go to their finance section

then press contract clause 2 tab

find jermain defoe

on the right where it says per league appearance

change to after league appearances

i know it is probably quite simple , however i dont want to ruin my game by doing th wrong thing .

also will i have to do this everytime i start or new game , or is there some way of saving it into the game ?

you could just save it as '8.0.2 defoe'
then next time you start a new game
choose the database named '8.0.2 defoe'
its what i did anyway
