Once you have edited the database and saved it once you will always have that database available to you to use whenever you start a new game.
The database will be: Exactly what is there on the 8.0.2 database supplied. Plus a single change to Jermain Defoe.
That will be the only difference!
As suggested save it to something like "8.0.2 Defoe" so you don't get confused.
