Hello everyone, I was wondering if anyone can help me.

Can you install the 8.0.2 patch over the original 8.0.0, or do you need to install 8.0.1 prior to installing 8.0.2. Your help is appreciated, thanks.

You can install 8.02 over 8.00 without having 8.01.

The only major difference will be that you will not have the 8.0.1 database

So I've installed 8.0.2 (thanks SI) and I want to start a new game but with player data as it was in June 2007.

I just select the default game data from the drop down list during game creation, and I will have June 2007 player data, but with all the game fixes that come with the 8.0.2 patch?

As far as I remember yes. It might appear as 800 though.

yes the database appears as 8.0 so hopefully all the patch fixes are in the game too
