Just got promoted from CCL2 with Aldershot, who I joined 10 games into the season.

Board say they are very unhappy that I am failing to meet my long term aims, which was simply to finish in a respectable place.

Below this, they say they are delighted I got promoted.

What the hell? I think they are going to sack me!

I too am getting mixed messages from the board don't fret too much.

Their opinions will pass over time, and they'll whinge about something else.

Also many others have mentioned this, I am on the understanding that this will be cleared up in the next patch \o/

Just ignore it for now. Confusing as it is.

I think its adds to the realism of an undecided board (despite it being damn annoying)...I mean after all, how many times have you read/heard that such a board of given someone the dreaded vote of confidence...only to sack him a day later lol.

This might help you understand whats going on, 4th post in particular. You will need the 8.0.1 patch though as the box game had huge bugs.
