Default Never been so confused with saving databases, ever.

Weirdly, i am so confused when saving a database with a minor change to something i want to call it. Everytime i start a new game it either moves straight on to league selection or shows the database list of - 'default' then again 'default'. But when i look in both db folders in my documents and program files there is no db there? Same happens with the 8.0.1 database. so where am i going wrong?

i can't remember where, but there is a third location for custom db files... allow hidden folders to be seen in control panel > follder options and then do a search to find it. but it should always show up for selection.

OR

even if it's a minor change, "save as..." rather than just "save" the db and call it something else. the 2 defaults that you see are the original & edited db.

Well, if there actually is a (empty) folder on view, then you drag it onto the Recycle Bin?
