Hi

I am confused about training

When the players train there seems to be a category eg Def Att , then there seems to be 3 different colours , yellow , green , and orange

Is this right

Green - Improved in that area
Yellow - Nothing much
Orange - Got worse , which does that make his ability worse eg if it was shooting would shooting drop down from 15 to 13 for example

you on about the line graph? read the key if you are.
if your talking about the coloured arrows then the direction of the arrow tells you wehter its improving or not.
up is good, down is bad.

I find training to be incomprehensible nowadays. I get a monthly report telling me the 3 players who have performed best in training and almost always, when I look at their attribute graphs, they haven't improved in any attribute and have fallen in some and they have no green training arrows. The only thing that correlates is the bars you get on the training page regarding progress which is apparently improving for those players.

In FM07 I used to click on the 3 players who were reported as training well over the last month and see some nice green arrows next to various attributes to back that up.

I've found that when I "transfer in" a player who was on a full-time schedule previously, then for a while he will still lose attribute points due to my part-time schedules that I'm offering as a lower league team.

It adds another wrinkle to my scouting so I don't get frustrated thinking I've got a real gem when I don't.
