I'm sorry if I've missed a thread or something, I've been looking all over and cannot find anything concrete on FM09 - do we KNOW of any changes that are planned?

Not that I know of, there is a sticky thread at the top of the page which is a wishlist from forum users, but how likely the suggestions are to go in the game noone knows.

there is a rumour going around that fm09 will be released before 8.0.2

That's cool.

Can I ask Ter, are you at SI ever tempted to skip a year to give yourselves extra time on the next one and really make it great and stick everything you want in there?

Must be incredibly stressful always immediately working on the next one to be ready within a year.

apparantly it is going to be released with lots of bugs, (many of which you will have seen in fm08, fm07 etc), and it will take months before we get a working patch. :eek:

Obviously not a definitive answer from me here as I do not work with SI or anything like that, but as far as I'm aware, they can't due to production deadline's set by the publisher (in this case Sega).

We can do long term stuff anyway regardless of how often we release games.
