I know its unlikely to be playable until sometime in 2009. Despite that fact it will get released in October.

Sadly, I think all we know at this stage is that it will be called Football Manager 2009, and will feature you managing a football club.
Unless, of course, SI are planning a radical rehaul.
I expect most of the features that are planned to be added have already been mentioned by somebody at some point (someone not from SI, but on the wishlist thread), so the best place to get ideas of what might be included would probably be there

I dont care if there are any changes in terms of new content all I want is for 2009 to work properly. As adding new content seems to overcomplicte everything. Though what i would really like is a tactic system which is more logical than just some random tactic which tricks the AI no matter who you play and then that only lasts a few weeks.
