I've been managing as Bayern for five seasons now and I've been trying unsuccessfully to become the German national coach. Even with the removal of the fake roster for Germany, they've already gone through two managers, one of them being the old Bayern manager whom I took over from. With a pretty high reputation and pretty good managerial ratings. Under him, Bayern has won the German 1st Division every year, made it to two Champions League semis (2009, 2011), two Champions League finals (2010, 2012), and winning one (2010). Anyways, I've applied twice for the German National Team managing position, but they go with usually incompetent or mediocre managers.
Damn. I knew about the whole roster thing, but you really can't manage as Germany? Damn, that's frustrating because the Germans usually have had nice quality teams, but always seem to be unable to win against the best ranking national teams (they've dropped out of the top fifteen in my game already). I guess I'll have to try some other national team.
