on task manager it's showing as using 1025512 k.

mine is doing around 130,000k at the moment, i dont check but i can assume it probably does when it goes really slow aftrer leaving it minismised for a while and press space bar....dont worry about it

Is that total memory usage that every program running is using, or just FM 2008?

My total memory usage is around 750 MB. I have a firewall/anti-virus and some other stuff running, plus 48 leagues on FM 2008 most of which are on "view only" except for the nation I'm playing in, and on a large database.

My anti-virus is quite easy-going on the memory, though.

I noticed when I installed an anti-spyware program (I forget the name now because I uninstalled it) that it was using 200 MB's on its own.
