has anyone ever been turned down for transfer funds, gave an ultimatum and not been told to clear ya desk??

Yes... but only if u had already won quite a lot of competitions with the club AND became a quite reputable manager .

I got cov promoted in my first season and did that once. I'd have been listed and worshipped as an official god of ...well...everything, in real life. They said "COMPUTER SAYS NOOOO!", had a spazm, and then told me to poo off.

I gave an ultimatum after winning the Champions, the league and the cup; had a reputation of World Class and had been in the team for 4 seasons. The board fired me, but over half the coaching staff quit when I was fired!! I thought it was a nice touch
