Hey folks, currently in my third season with rangers. First season i scooped the treble, the second i only managed the league cup and a second place finish in the table, now in the third season im barley hanging on to third. The reason for all this.
The damn board!
At the end of every season they add thousands of seats to the stadium costing millions that could be used for transfers. Of course with my luck the seats disapear before the next season and im back down to 51,000 seats. This has happened twice now. So millions has went out and i still have my original sized stadium. I'm told the patch will fix this but im always weary of using these,
Don’t know why, Every version in my View needed to be patch and the game was vastly improved. There pre-tested and should fix things. I’m not saying there is not glitches that cause new problems but in general your game will improve patch on patch .
If you are as I’m assuming playing the out the box version I’d not bother introducing 8.0.1 to your saved game when 8.0.2 will be out soon. The developers work hard to fix things and improve the game with out patching your basically not getting the reward for there work and the best the game has to offer….
It's an official patch from the games designer so I wouldn't be worried about fixing issues in the boxed version. But if you're like me and removed the patch because you prefer 8.00 match engine to 8.01 then I suggest using FM modifier to get back your lost millions and fix your stadium capacity. I did that and haven't had any noticeable knock on effects.

You’re getting this from someone who hosts a clan game and take great value in the work people have put in. We can’t really start again although we did with 8.0.1 with 8.0.2 as it’s the third season in Spain we are playing.
If you read the F.A.Q for the game and patches you will read that patches are saved game compatible which I take on board as you should be able to play on with your game after this patch is installed without any problems.
The bigger picture here is to what degree will the fixes be applied on my saved game? Some fixes suggest it would be better to start afresh while other will happily take fine to your game. If you start afresh you can expect all the fixes to be applied but not all fixes can be guaranteed in my view over a saved game that has been run for a few seasons using another build.
If your strongly into your saved game play on or if you’re not that fussed start again. But either way patch the game is in my view the only way to go.
For your problem with the seats I would say its not going to give you a new capacity or money back patching right off the bat but when it comes to the same routine in say the next season it will probably do what it should. I think your stuck in a loop currently were the game expects Ibrox to be expanded and does what it required only to find the season after that it still needs to be expanded as nothing happened.

If your new to forums that’s how it works. I posted in a forum about my new car and I got the odd post offering help and advice but after about a week I seen the thread had been dragged to the top with a post, turns out the post that late arrival was eight or nine days on from me posting probably saved me about two thousand pounds.
