I am in the middle of a game on 8.0.0 and i am just downloading 8.0.1. the game i have got is at the start of the 10/11 season and is a successful one with man u. after the should i start a new game with the same club, a new game with a new club (any suggestions welcome) or carry on with my old game?

I would just continue with your current game for another week or two, then when the 8.0.2 patch is out, download that and install then start a new game.

you could continue the current one until you get bored of it. by then 8.0.2 will be out and you can start fresh with whoever you want? perhaps see how different it is with the same team under a new version.

Hey, gaffer, there's nothing from 8.0.0 to 8.0.1 that should force you to start a new game, no. If you're attached to and enjoying your current save, I'd say carry on.

Note, however, that some things will have changed; your successful 8.0.0 tactic, for example, may not be a successful 8.0.1 tactic, etc.

Is this confirmed, that 8.0.2 will be out in a couple of weeks? I know a patch with data update is expected and I've been wondering when because I don't want to start a new game until it's out. Until then, I'll continue my classic 'world' game, all leagues in all countries, it's 2019 and I'm managing the mighty Slavonac, a lower league Croat team now challenging for Europe. Awesome.

There was no need to put the word 'successful' in front of 'Man U'.
Just say 'Man U'....we can deduce the rest! I'd start again just to challenge myself...if I was one of the big clubs.
