Well, im wanting to change player names for a little story im planning on doing

When i load the pre game editor and then go to load my data a box comes up saying there isnt enough memory and it will now close

What should i do, delete games i have stored on my PC (Pro Evo 4) and then should it work. Afterwards i could easily install PES so it isnt that difficult

IT Could be The RAM capacity thats the problem not Hard Disk Space.

An Upgrade if Yours is les Than 512MB is one answer, but you can increase the virtual memory paging file, the following instruction show you how to do this

Start>Control Panel>System>Advanced. Then in the PERFORMANCE box click Setings, from there click advanced again, then in the VIRTUAL MEMORY box click Change. Check the Custom Size box and make the initial size 512mb and the maximum size 512mb aswell. Click Set and OK.

Try loading your Editor again and see if that works, it did for me.

In the long run a RAM upgrade would be the best thing to go for.

Thanks for that mate, when it gets to Loading People Data it now just gets stuck there and doesnt move on. I have to load the Task manager to close it down

Even with the modifications ive given you on my system it takes the editor almost an hour to fully load, and about the same to save once ive completed making my changes.

its due to the vast amount of data in the game eg 255,000 players and staff countless amounts of teams, stadiums, cities, competitions, weather, injuries, media etc.

As the editor cant pre-determine what you wish to edit, it has to load EVERYTHING, thus it takes ages unless you have yourself a high-end machine a nice £3000 DELL or Alienware custom system, but thats beyond my disposable income and im sure many other peoples.

But thats why the game takes up 650 mb of hard disk space and most of that as you can imagine, is the Database which your Editor uses.

Percivere with it load it go for a bath and have your tea, or whatever , cos its some bit of software once it has loaded, the sh*t you can do with it is cool you can practically rewrite the game!

Sorry for the double post but...

Once it got to the end after a while and the Sorting data finished an error came on. Fm Data Editor has encountered an error etc. and the thing shut down

Think i might have to do without, or is there any chance some lovely person could edit the DB, start a game and then send me the saved game
