About Liverpool: we think that it is not appropriate to change the rules of the game when the game is ongoing. Before the start of the last season's CL the rules were clear: the defending champion has no right to defend it if he had been placed on the 5th position at the end of Premiership season. England should have only 4 spots in CL and that is a fact. Many people outside UK think that way and feel cheated by the UEFA. CL is just a bunch of couple clubs that make money on matches between them and they don't want to share it with anyone else.
Yes, i know that we may loose some of our english fans here, but we just can't do it and we won't.
