I know you have to strike the balance of:
1) Having the best teams in Europe being in the league, and
2) Having representatives from various leagues in Europe. Giving some of the bigger teams in smaller leagues a chance.

With that said, I don't think you could possibly not include Manchester United. If you were to have to pick just 3 english teams, i'd say youd have to chose ManU ahead of Liverpool. (I say all this as a Chelsea fan).

And looking at Euro League 1, just a quick overstavation, i'd put Tottenham and Boro ahead of Bolton.

If I had to make the super league i'd probably go with:

Chelsea (Eng)
Liverpool (Eng)
Arsenal (Eng)
Manchester United (Eng)
AC Milan (Ita)
Juventus (Ita)
Inter Milan (Ita)
Barcelona (Esp)
Real Madrid (Esp)
Betis (Esp)
Ajax (Ned)
PSV (Ned)
Bayern Munich (Ger)
Schalke '04 (Ger)
Lyon (Fra)
Marseille (Fra)
FC Porto (Por)
Dinamo Kiev (Ukr)
Panathinaikos (Gre)
CSKA Moscow (Rus)

For Euro League 1 i'd have to include these teams (not gonna list em all, just ones I couldn't see league 1 without):

Benfica
Fenerbahce
Leverkusen
Lille
Monaco
Olympiakos
Villarreal
Deportivo
Valencia
Roma
Udinese
Werder Bremen
Stuttfart
Feyenoord
Celtic
Rangers
Everton
Tottenham

Obviously everyone is gonna have different opnions. But unless you put Man. Utd in there somewhere I think a lot of ppl will get mad or just think it has a big flaw.

The best way to do this would be to have coefficients determine who gets in, sort of like the Champions League. Maybe have set spots for certain nations, like for the top league:
3 England, 3 Italy, 3 Spain, 2 Germany, 2 Netherlands, 2 France, 1 Portugal, then for the remained 4 there could be a playoff with the winners of countries like Turkey, Greece, Ukraine, Russia, and a few others competing for it. But the way you are doing it is with other European leagues underneath it, so what I said doesn't really matter. Its just what I think the most realistic scenario would be.

always good to hear peoples opinions, and as I said, the tables are not set in stone and can change, but the reason some teams were chosen for the super league was because..... benfica won portguse league, cska moscow may have come 3rd in russia i think but won uefa, and liverpool ahead of man utd cos they won cl.

i put bolton ahead of boro and tottenham because bolton came 6th and qaulified for europe.

Always good to hear feedback, and I will look into putting man utd into the super league, maybe for leverkusen (they havent even qaulifed for europe this season).

I remember someone saying lazio dont belong in league 3, ran it on holiday and they came 12th in the league, thats dead in the middle.

thanks.

Would it be possible to make the Scottish leagues the "Reserve" leagues, this way they can't interfere much in any of our senior teams playing?

Any ideas when this superleague will be coming out? Are there any other good superleagues and can I use them in conjunction with a data update for players etc?

I was thinking about using another league for the reserves.

This is properly what will happen, I've gotta think of some teams to fill up the lower leagues (198 teams to be exact).

Newcastle is set to be there somewhere, the only reason they are not there yet is because they came 14th last season, well below many other teams.

So if some people can come up with a list of teams they would like to see in the league (along with the nation please, i may not of heard of them, lol).

Many thanks.

Oh and this version will include all transfers from 5.0.5, and it will be released when ive finished it. Got a lot of other stuff to do like alevel coursework, work and playing the game as well to do. Getting quite a bit done each day though.

okay, I have found a way of making england stay in europe, and getting it to work effectively.

now, england and austrialia remain in their groups, and europe is quite literally TURNED OFF!

I found a way

proof:- Turned off european cups

you may notice, it is back to the euro leagues, europe option is not there ("proper" euro cups will not be loaded)

and the fixtures are fixed

now to choose another load of teams.

It seems as if you are looking closely at how clubs did last year as guidance to where they should be. Keep in mind that some clubs might of just had a bad year and should be placed higher. For example: Valencia had a bad year, but mainly due to manager changes. They def. deserve to be higher than League 2. Thats just one club I can think about. I am sure there are similar situations for other leagues/clubs I don't know as well.

Hope I dont sound too critical. Just trying to help. Keep up the good work

Oh, I forgot to ask. Just for my own curiosity, how do you put all of the teams in the same league but still manage to make them still part of their own country? Do you do this inside the editor itself or do you edit the files manually?
