Although I'm looking forward to something like this, I can't help but feel that there will be trouble ahead...

| just a few "out of the ordinary things" to make the league itself work.
The league itself works perfectly so far, all teams retain their nationality and act as they would do normally & also must keep to the player rules of that country e.g. turkish teams may only have so many foreginers (i dont know how much, but the sqaud must be almost all turkish), and english teams require work permits etc. Also all prices remain as they would for that nation, increasing realism.
One problem (which I had to cause) though, I had to move england to ocenia, so england play in ocenia qaulifying world cup, and austrialia is not playable until after the initial world cup qaulifying as groups have been drawn. (this was to aviod the real euro cups as teams were called up from each nation based on repuatation, this has "turned" them off)
Other than that, the actual league works perfectly
im going to use conference south/north and lower leagues for reserves & U21 sqauds, so they play games in the leagues or "generated" games when they play in lower league games, so they dont miss out, they also play in the "european cup" (aka fa cup)
okay, so far these are the top 5 leagues, subject to change of course as I am trying to make them a little bit fair. (ignore the holders, i havn't changed them yet, thinking about getting england and spain national team to open the super league in the euro super cup, as an extra) Euro Super League Euro League 1 Euro League 2 Euro League 3 Euro Conference Higher Some one said that you couldnt see jobs from other people.... simply click filter and all nations and you get this
now to continue making the league

| Don't like this idea as that means the reserve teams are going to be promoted and after a couple of seasons reserve teams from the "elite" clubs will be knocking the little teams from the leagues.
The rest looks spot on though

always good for feedback, but should I not allow reserve squads to play, then they shall not play any games..
and as for knocking out the lower teams, I have to agree that this will most likely happen. but if I find loads (almost 200 teams to put in lower leagues), there will be a small chance that these will actually accomplish anything anyway, and the same for the lower teams already present,
my idea is so that they actually play games, these "B" sides are as competivie and even better than european sides not present and deserve their chance to shine,
thats what I thought anyway, I respect your opinion, I have not currently made these lower leagues, just about to run the top 5 leagues on holiday to ensure they work as expected,
many thanks.

Steven, could you make that database available to download (probably to big)? or go through step by step, how to move a club from one country to another. I am unable to do it on my computer anymore and don't know why.
I sounds as though you changed the nation of the league to not set and then started to use the swap function.
Well done on removing them from euro comps. how did you do that?
Cheers Mate.

I looked at the screen shots.
Not sure about the team selection. I would choose based on the clubs reputation, e.g. Real, then Milan, Then Man Utd.
Also I would delete the competition histories. I noticed Norwich were the last champions of Euro League 1.
I tried this in belgium, partly because they had just one domestic cup, a shorter season and the top teams would have the advantage of being a 'home nation', as may happen in england for english clubs.
And one last thing, why are TNS only 1 tier lower than lazio?
Well done though. I would really appreciate some feedback as you seem to be winning the battle.
Good Luck.

| most teams are where they are because of where they finished in their respective leagues, lazio did poorly, and even got knocked out of the "euro vase" against marsilee by a lot of goals in real life this season.
and as stated i havnt changed the histories yet
and i moved england to ocenia and austrialia to europe to remove european cups.

Cheers Steven.
Good thinking with the change of continents.

This is how I would choose the teams, i.e. let the researchers, who assign reputations, do the hardwork. Granted it is now a season out of date but it does remove potential human bias.
Again I would like to say good work, and some good ideas.
