It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Why Ohh! Why...Can someone look at this and help.

Hello,

I want to thank anyone who is reading this and in hope that you can take the time to look at the games I've loaded and the formation I have loaded, to see if you can help me understand why I just don't hold the ball that much and why I am just loosing games. I have read a good few posts on how its done and attempted here to do it myself.

I know I am playing in a lower league and of course there will be less things going consistant but I at least need to start to learn how to have the ball and get it in the net. The thing is I play this game alot and this version has really made me want to pull my hair out.

Tactic:

Now here is the formation to download so you can see all the settings: Formation

Here now is two games I just didn't do anything in to show you how it plays:

De Graafshap Vs Helmond
De Graafshap Vs Volendam

I would be thankful for any positive feedback you might have. Thanks for taking the time to look.

I just sat there and done some editing of my tactic to suit the players. I would like to know if anyone feels this is a better way of playing with these players & system.

4-3-1-2 Formation - De Graafshap

I'd pull the central midfielder back to a DM role (help out the defence) and add sarrows to the other midfielders to give a bit of width. Sarrows to the forwards may also create some more goalscoring opportunities.

You import it into your FM2007 game, so you can view my tactic and how I play it.

Looks too narrow to create chances to me. I can't dl the .tac as I'm at work. You need to fsarrow the two MCs to AML/R positions, turn off FWRS for the AMC and have them at mixed for the front two. If you want a front man to hold the ball up, have him play with no FWRs, with the other FC looking to run off him.

D-line at home max normal + CD for all defenders and middle MC opposite (i.e. d-line (13) = Cd (7) = 20). Reverse away, so d-line is min normal and Cd higher. No FWRs for middle MC, often for other MCs. You could possibly get rid of the barrow too.
