I have constructed this tactic and trialed it with Arsenal, Forentina and now Norwich. It would appear to be as good as any I have tried and very successful. However I am looking for people who are struggling to give it a go with other teams and report back after half a season or so with any feedback.

Well as far as I can remember there was no logic behind it initially.
Started with the basic 4-4-2 diamond and set all players individual tactics to the default for each position. Half forward arrows for the two wide men and left everything at that. With a bit of success and after reading a few on here. Decided I'd give it a go by playing narrow. So brought the two wide men into the middle with out going arrows. You can play MC or wide men here now. Both maintain good ratings.
I have a little and large strike force. Carew and Henry at Arsenal, and Earnshaw and Brought in Sutton at Norwich. The last striker on the team selection should be the quick one!! Play through the middle. If needs be move the wide men out to change tactics and set to play down flanks!! Often changes a game round for me at half time!!

The logic behind the defence is unknown. I had the best defence in Serie A when I was in charge for the 4-5 months or so and the Arsenal defence was water tight!! Helps having a good keeper as I have found and a top DM!
