Just wondering what you guys think is the best formation for the premier league, havent been performing well, it could be my tactics and formation. i am one of the big four

my formation is

CM CM CM (all running towards goal)

I usually adjust formations to my player's best positions and I use a very similar formation to you except with Wingers.

Formation are not nearly as important as the actual player you sign. I like to have wingers with pace and technique so I concentrate for searching players whom excels at that.

Depends on who is in your team and who you must field, I'd say formation is not that important. Also, the tactics options which you use would make a difference on how effectively you're using your players.

Also, keeping the same formation may not be the best option, I have about 3 or 4 different variations of the 4-4-2 which I rotate around. Test them out and keep faith, as long as your formations looks balanced it's fine.
