Hello people!
This is my first post on the forums, mainly been browsing around for ideas for tactics or new gems, keeping a low profile

But here it goes.
I started a game with my beloved Liverpool, and started messing around with a new tactic. Started out pretty bad, but after some tweaks the pieces started to fall in to place. Ended up 2nd place, only 1 point behind Chelsea. That was a pretty good achievement since i had like 5 losses on my first 9 games and i was really struggling at the start of the season.. The second season got to easy, played 15 games or something and won all without any problems. So i wanted to try out my tactic with a team with not the same resources as Liverpool. So i started a game with West Ham.
The key to this tactic is having pacey wingers that is able to cross well, and one striker with targetman abilities, ie jumping, strength (and height as i think this affects the match engine more then ever). 1 striker does have a bit less mentality than the other one. I mainly used my best header as the most defensive striker, and a pacey one together with him to get behind their defensive line and catch up the other strikers flick-ons. The wingers gets in alot of crosses, and the fullbacks swings deep crosses, very often to the striker with lowest mentality. Occasionaly use him as a target man, mostly against the bigshots like Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal and Pool.
Ended second, behind Manchester United in the
Premier League
Won the
FA Cup
And won the
EURO Cup
I'm not saying that this tactic is the bomb. It works for me so far, but it definetly needs some tweaking and testing.
Would mainly like some of you to check it out, give some comments and feedback.
Cheers
