With the overload of multi-various tactics now available I am wondering if the in game default tactics are of any use. They seem to generally be at odds to a lot of the "tailor made" tactics produced by gamers.
I have yet to find any one tactic or set of tactics, including my own poor efforts, that will hold good for more than one season. I seem to be spending too much time trying out tactics and not enough time actually playing the game. Hence the reason why I am still only into match No.31 in the first season with Hull City.
I would like to have in place, by the forthcoming patch, a tactic that wiil hold good over more than one season. For instance. Manchester United have in general, over the reign of Sir Alex Ferguson, remained true to a 4-4-2 formation with a stable tactic to accompany it. Liverpool on the other hand have generally adopted a "you name it, we'll play it" philosophy with varying results, mostly not good.
Can anyone in SI or the "mods" enlighten me about the in game tactics, please? Kind regards to all, as usual. Oh! yes I am a fuuly paid supporter of Liverpool for over fifty years. Also, I can remember going to Old Trafford to see United beat Real Madrid 3-1 in the early sixties. In the days of being able to socialise with both sets of supporters. Happy days!
