Why do some of my players never reach 100% match fitness level? Is this due to my training? I customize my own training and i put them at the highest level of MEDIUM in the overall. Is this too high?

When some of my players do not put in the efforts at training, is there something I can do about it? It says player is happy with his training, so i'm confused. His ability is dropping (Wayne Rooney of all people!). How can I improve thiS?

I have training schedules separated for wingers and central attacking midfielders. Now my dilemma is players like Ribery and Park Ji Sun who can play anywhere across the midfield. Should i make a special training for these players so they continue to develop in all areas of the park?

Yes you can, but, if you focus on all areas the chances of high attributes increasing everywhere is rare. I find focused training more effective for specialist players. Its easier to train a DM or a DC or a Winger as opposed to someone who can be a creative midfielder and a defender at the same time. He will be a jack of trades and master of none

Thanks for your reply Rashidi. Yes they have been playing games. I am referring to my first team players here. A few days after the game some players go back to 100%, but even a week later some only reach 95% to 96% fitness level.
The problem is not the beginning of games, but these players go to low 70% by the 60th minute and so i have to take them off...
What are you fitness settings on? During the season these only need to be on medium... lower end of... since if they are to high injuries are likely to be increased.
part 2 question... There is apparently a problem with the training - a bug perhaps - that the patch will resolve. Patch due out in the next 14 days.

Thanks Dayle. I am not sure what you mean by Fitness settings? Do you mean the Strength training? Surprising the I put my defenders on high strength training and they are the ones with 100% fitness levels. All other positions are on the lower end and get up to 96% max.
My aerobics training is on the higher end of medium though.. could this be it?
yes. most likely. As a rule I have my strength and Aerobic training on the first notch of medium during the season... anymore than that and they are working to hard at fitness and injuries will be more common.
Having said that injuries are common at the moment regardless but hopefully it will be toned down in the patch. Don't quote me though!
As I said the main problem with attributes decreasing will DEFINATLEY be fixed in the patch in the next couple of weeks so that will be one thing at least.
i find this an interesting thread because in '07 i have been surprised at the high levels of fitness compared to '06, i do my own schedules and actually have the overall far higher than medium (more like 70-80%). i reguarly get 98-100% on pre-match players. after reading your story i'm wondering if this is just lucky or have i accidently dropped on somethin'

Thats about what I get, so I think we are in the majority. I think it's probably his training levels.
Another thing I just thought of is (maybe) his tactic. If it is a high tempo tactic perhaps his players are regularly tired by the end of the game and this is affecting their overall revovery time - just a stab in the dark mind you.

out of interest, at what health level threshold, do you think, 'right i'm gonna take him off'.
