I insist on playing 4-4-2 with the two wingers playing a little more attacking yet it does not work, is there a 4-4-2 tactic which does work?

I play a 4-4-2, with both my wingers going forward, and also one of my MC making forward runs, and the either running back into a DMC position, works a treat for me, iv played it as Leicester, Arsenal and England. I always set my tactics to quite high attacking aswell though

I play 4-4-2 with to attacking midfielders on the flank....the key for me is have your centremids playing as defensive midfielders (not in the DM postion, but defensive minded), never running forward, or having long shots, but plenty of through balls, play through the middle, and play direct & quick, have your fullbacks attacking (with a line to wingback postion), and sit deep, time waste rarely and play counter-attk, to be honest i was Atlético Madrid so slightly easy but tactics from FM2006 work inn 2007 so just copy any tactics you had on that and paste them into your my documents>sports interactive>FM 2007>tactics folder and then start flying, I'll upload a photo of the tactic & the tactic itself, and a photo of my final position only lost 3 games that season...THE GAMES QUITE BORING TO BE HONEST
