what are they and how do you get them(regens)????
I play fm o7 on xbox 360..never have i seen a regen!Also, can you only get players with buyout clauses in the spanish league?
good buys for me were:
david villa(23 mill)
Xavi(20 milion)
I triggered both buyout clauses.

Regens are made-up players created by the database.

You will get them at the start of the 2nd season.

I know the date the regens appear, but how do you search to see if any are wonderkids or potential wonderkids?

you just have to scout around and trust your scouts judgement
