Ive offered them to clubs for £1m and nobodys interested when they are both worth aroung £10m. What am i doing wrong?

I've been offered Cassano a lot going into season 2 for as little as £1.2m but he just doesn't want to come to Villa

Not really much you can do unfortunately if you've listed them and stuck them in the reserves, ridiculously hard to sell the best of players at times.

Have you tried setting their squad status to "Not needed"?

Some clubs do not make offers because they feel they can not attract players of that caliber or they might make wage requirements.

they are both in my reserves not needed and unavailable for loan will a team become interested over time or do i just keep offering them to clubs

Um.. if you're offering £1m, you're probably not in for the profits? If you're simply trying to cut wages and have the spare cash, you could release them by mutual consent?

If you leave them in reserve being listed and not needed, I guess someone would eventually express interest (hopefully)

offer them to clubs for nothing and then if you get people interested reject their offers. then offer to clubs again this time putting say 4mil (over 24 months) plus 50% sell on. This usually works for me but no guarentee

Transfer list them first and immediately after offer them to clubs. If you dont care about the money, try to offer them for 0 or maybe 1M over 12months or something like that.

Also, one time I was trying to offload a player but even though a few were interested, whenever I tried to offer him to clubs, they came back and said that they wont be able to accept his wage demands. So I took the player off the transfer list, played him in a couple of matches as a sub and he was happy again. Offered him a new contract with lower wages and he accepeted. Then I offered him to the clubs and they were happy to bid for him!! A few other new ones came in for him as well.

If you dont plan to play them at all in any matches, try to offer them a much lower salary, but with a ridiculously high goal bonus and appearance fee. It shouldnt matter to you because they wont be playing any matches so you wont need to shell out any money. They generally ask for higher wages and might reject your contract at first. But when you offer them again, this time they are generally happy to lower their wage demands and take the high appearance and goal bonus. Give it a shot. Might work.
