I am in my third season as Liverpool manager but I feel I am being constrained as to finding exceptional english talent without paying over the odds to get it.
For example I paid £19m to get Michael 'the New Steven Gerrard' Johnson only to be told by my fans he wasn't a good signing and also voted worst signing of the year in the premier league.
However, he is developing very well as Stevie G reaches his peak and ultimatley declines.
The question I wish to ask is outside of David Amoo (Liverpool) and Michael Vaughn (Everton) - what other homegrown treasures has anyone unearthed that will progress into potential world beaters such as my current strikeforce of Aguero and Torres.
Answers on a postcard please - ideally anyone who hasn't turned 23/24 by 2011
