Great player and all that but that's silly money. So no. You should have great regens by now in the game. Scout around for them and you'll find someone as good as Messi.

id at least want 10 good years for a player at that money and i think you'll get 5 or 6 seasons before his stats esepcially physical will drop dramatically
for example i bought cristiano ronaldo in the first season when hes what 21 22 and i payed 53 million with is ok for 10 good seasons
ive laready done 4 and hes on fire!! up to you tbh

if you have plenty of cash then go for it, you can always sell him after three or four years and get your money back before he gets to old

if money is not an issue then do it. you will have a great player, the fans will love you and it will help with merchandising.
