Frank told me to go to the Croatin 2nd division. The club is an amateur club and I am curios how a terrible manager like myself will survive.

Am I able to sign players currently on amateur contracts with other clubs for free?

I think you can.

It seems that when you offer a player a contract he does have a contract expiry date set though and other teams will offer an actual transfer-sum to you to get these players.

This is what happened to me while managing an amateurside.

Interesting location by the way...

Yes. But only in the regular transferwindows.
