click on "fm data editor" in the folder where the game is

If your chairman in real life has no money being invested then FM will reflect it

As an alternative try reasearching / scout for good young prospects and sell them for profit

Editing the database for me is simply cheating and reflects poorly on your management skills, but then thats just my opinion
