well i need help with the edit on the game, i cant find it anywere and if i did find it i would'nt no were to start if there is someone willing to help me from start to finish.
i only ever play with one team (blackburn)and i've said in a different thread they don't have any money i've never been able tp play the game were i can go daft people take over other clubs and rip them of but i hate that so yesterday i read you could edit the game and give your self a little bit extra cash, i need to give it ago so i would really be greatfull if someone/anyone was able to help

All you have to do is open the Data Editor, in the program files folder under Sports Interactive and search for Blackburn, go to the finance page and give them loads a money! Also give them a sugar daddy if you want!

Then save the database, start a new game with the saved database and Cha Khing!

sorry this might sound daft but were do i start were is the sports interactive folder that is how much i need help i have only ever played the game never really looked that far in the computer also does the game have to be running while you check

No worries! i LOVE the editor so I'm happy to help!

Hit the start button, under the all programes menu look for sports interactive, then FM08, then data editor and it should come up for your evil purposes!

cheers for the quick response all i get is a (about the editor page) which dosent give me any idea at all do you no this page

Yea I know it, it's the start page!

Go to file, load database and you should be able to get editing

so i go to file in the top left corner of the page and load were it says load data base did that then all i see is (default) double click that and then i get a list of people, clubs, nations, ext were do i go from there

OK, you have the database loaded, click on Clubs in the upper left hand area, type in blackburn and then you will get your team

Double click on them and then in the left hand menu, go to finances and look at the balance and type in as much as you want

After all this when you are finished, save the database, either overwrite or make a new one, prob better to do this, call it default 1 or Blackburn's millions or whatever, then start a new game but make sure you PICK YOUR NEW DATABASE for your changes to take effect!
