Default English and the cost

im currently managing qpr im in the prem and i am at xmas in my 3rd season ive spent alot of money since i got promoted...... all on ENGLISH players..

my debate are english players worth the money...
ive a 22man squad 20 english 2 non (marlon king, seoul) both now with 2nt nationality english...

ive found you generally pay more for the players from english clubs...
the only real advantage ive found is they settle a whole lot quicker,
and are a lot easier to keep happy,

im now scared to buy foreign anyone any reasons why i should excluding the cost??

The cost is the main reason TBH.

I get a bit of a kick from signing players fror ridiculously obscure nations though.

Just signed a striker from the British Virgin Islands. That's sort of British...

i very rarely buy english players, firstly the not technically that good, but mainly, it doesnt represent value for money. i can go and get a £2 million striker from brasil or argentina, an the same level of player is worth about £8-£10 mil. not worth it at all!! And actually, IRL, look at carrick, hargreaves, rio, cole, lennon, carson, that wigan keeper, dawson, the list is endless, all of them decent enough players, shome are very good, but all were bought over the odds, rio , £30 mil!!!! my fav english team is man utd, but cmon, £30 mil, for someone who always sleeps once a game, whereas nesta, who i rate higher than rio anyway, went for about £8 mil...wots that all about!! Romi went for about £6 mil to villrreal, yet carrick goes to £18??? you get my point...no??

I play in england and only with welsh players (and they have to be found via scouts or national team, I cannot search them!!) and I have to say that they all settle well, even if they come from welsh league.

there is 2 reasons to play english league if you aint british,
first its good strong league and nice cups, etc.
second no limits on players.. not like 1-3 non eu players other leagues have..
my manchester city team have maybe 2-3 english nationality guys for main team , rest is in good rainbow colors flags ;o
