Although not technically a cup, my favourite was West Ham winning the Premiership in 10/11, and getting relegated in 19th place the following year. (I managed them for neither year)

And, regarding World Rankings, I've noticed a couple of odd things. I'm in 15/16, and Boznia and Herzegovina are higher in the rankings than Brazil. They're almost a superpower in my game - they reached (from memory) the semis of the 2016 European Championship.

Unfortunately, most of the World Cup winners have been fairly predictable (Spain, Italy, France)
