There's been a lot of discussion surrounding the Serie A rule of not being allowed to sign more than 1 non-EU player per year. I'm playing as AC Milan and I have a number of feeder clubs. Is there any way I can have one of my feeder clubs sign some of these non-EU players without taking virtual control over that team? This appears to be a real-life solution, but is it an FM solution as well?
Not an option, sorry. But I agree, it would be an ideal solution is some situations. Perhaps your team paying half the initial fee, then buying out the other half upon gaining EU nationality.
That's too bad - maybe workable in a future version of the game.
On a related note. I recently signed a 15 yr old Argentinian on a free, but he won't be moving to the club for a while. This apparently didn't count towards my non-EU transfer limit for the year, so I signed another young player from Australia who's coming over in the next January transfer window. This too doesn't appear to count towards my non-EU limit. Can I keep stacking up these future transfers (a loophole of sorts)? Or will some of these transfers be blocked in the future?
I guess you'll have to wait and see. My personal thought is that these transfer will be blocked if they break the rules. But I've not experienced this kind of thing myself.
