The next development in media stories should be to see players commenting on other players e.g.
-Players tipping their team-mates for international duty
-Players suggesting they'd like to see certain players at their team
-Players commenting on who is popular at their club (finally utilising the nicknames researchers have been adding for years)
-Players criticising/praising opponents
Those are just a few ideas, I'm sure the combined might of the forum can suggest some more.
Could be a nice edition.. But to some extent.. I don't wanna read about how someone feels about someone everyday, week in - week out.. But once in a while, something tasty can show up in the media..
yeah cool, but the problem is how would the game support such a big feature. what if you're running 30 active leagues? that's why the media is related only to you now. but eventualy I'm all for it, but don't think it's possibbile.
"Opposition striker Joe Smith predicts victory over Cedarville FC in tomorrow's F.A. Cup Semi-Final. 'They're nobody, have you ever heard of them?'

Tell media "We'll be out to prove him wrong tomorrow.."

Tell media "We're just hoping to put up a good fight."

Say nothing, but tape his comments on the dressing-room door.

That applies to any media addition, of which there are some every year. There's certainly no issue with possibility or processing demand.

The last thing I need is my players speaking to the media. Next thing I know, they'll all dislike each other, or their morale will have dropped.
It's taken me this long to work out how the damn media section works - I just can't be bothered now explaining it to the players. This option would be fine for those that want it, but if it were to be implemented, I'd need a "Blanket Media Ban" button.
I would like to see the whole media setup get a "refresher".
It's got superb potential, but unfortunately I always find I'm answering "no comment" as a response 99% of the time, which makes it a pretty redundant feature.
The only fun I have with it is slating opposition managers, whilst praising top managers - so I can loan their players when they're "friends"
