Has anyone actually had anything positive on the manager interaction than 'feels the two of you could become friends'.

I am now on the favoured personnel of Kevin Keegan(created manager in my db) in my game and yet it still says this.

Not yet, but I'm only in seasons 2 and 3 in my save games, and I'm sure becoming buddies takes lots of ass kissing and a lot of time.

In WWSM08 Michael Laudrup "Feels he has a good relationship with" me. I never saw that happen in FM07 so they must've fixed it for this game. :thup:

It's gonna be easier to sign players from his team and he will defend you against other managers, or if you're performing badly.

often if you bid for a player from your friend's club he is managing, it will say that the strong relationship between you made him less reluctant to accept or soemthing

In my game in fm07, i was always commenting on upcoming and previous matches about the manager but that was when I was managing Southampton. Using a bigger club in Man U now so don't want to give added motivation to my rivals or praise the lower clubs too much as my players have negative reactions to me doing so.
