When you start a season in England unemployed and apply for jobs do you get offered one?
I am thinking of starting unemployed and would just like to know what happened when you did it. Thanks.

If they think you are the right man for the job then you will get an offer.
It depends on what reputation you set as to how big a job you get.

Yes.

There is a big chance one of the newly-promoted teams is without a manager and that they will hire you.

If not, you will most likely be able to get a job when the first managers are being sacked (November-ish?).

Depends what reputation you set yourself as. At the lowest level, you'll be only likely to get one of the unknown "promoted" clubs to the Blue Sq N/S (assuming you're managing in England)

If you have plenty of "weird leagues" activated, then you might get a job in an unusual far-flung counyry

Well at the start Wigan & Leicster are avaliable so with he right past experience setting you will get them :thup:

If you set it to automatic theres no chance of you getting them IMO

yeah not wanting a decent(ish) team like Wigan & Liecster want to start in either the conferance or BS N/S

It's actually quite tough with "Automatic", atleast it was for me. I got laughed off by Solihull when I declared interest. But eventually Havant & Waterloo gave me an oppurtunity.

It could be a frustrating while before you land something, or could be quick. All depends what happens.

I started unemployed last night with all 4 english divisions, 1 spannish and 1 italian divisions playable. I got rejections from carlisle and other such clubs and then villareal offered me a job. Past experience was automatic.

Leave it 4 or so seasons and you can start with Leicester there
