After taking the Manchester United job in the post-Sir Alex era, I won the Community Shield. Unfortunately that was the last trophy that I managed, finishing second in the league and losing in the finals of the League Cup, FA Cup, and Champions League. Has anyone experienced such second-best misery as I have. Even though the board was happy that I hit all of their competition targets, it was a little depressing to finish each competition in this way.

My second season as Stevenage in the Blue Square Premier league I can runner up in both the FA Trophy and Setanta Shield, also failed to get promoted despite qualifying for playoffs.

I decided to myself that I wouldnt lower my colours and complain online and give it the benefit of the doubt, but yeah was really disappointed with the team after showing such promise and good form in the lead up.

Hopefully can find the missing link to take us all the way this year.
