hi peeps

i got this skin, i've been messing with it a bit to personalise it and just change things i don't like as much as others.

one thing that is really bothering me is the pop-up boxes (no idea what the proper name is but heres a screenie http://www.zen70864.zen.co.uk/fm2005.jpg)

well i was wondering how i can change how transparent this is, as it much to much for me.
btw i am a novice to skinning.

I'm not sure, but in the skin's folder, look at the named config file e.g. stone.xml in the stone folder.


This line mentions transparency:

<real id="bgop" value="0.6"/>


Change that and see what happens?

I think that has something to do with the background.

to change the transparency you woud have to edit it in a grphics editing program.

the files you need to edit are in [skinfolder]/graphics/boxes/dialog

No, that has nothing to do with the XML, it's the graphics that are transparent.

The graphics you're looking for is located in graphics/boxes/dialog. Either you'll have to make new ones in your graphic editing program or you can copy them from another skin.
