Can't seem to find how to change the resolution of this game, i have a widescreen monitor and the interface seems low res, how do i up the res?

You can play it in windowed mode and strech window over your desktop, but you won't gain anything. Resolution is fixed to 1024x768.

Untick 'full screen' in the display and sound preferences, I use the same resolution. Then you can maximise the window, its not fixed at all.

Fonts look a bit small though, as do players in the match engine. That can be changed when the FMF extractor tool is released.

You can also put the game into FullScreen mode with a resolution of 1680x1050, by doing this:

Right click on the shortcut you use to launch the game, goto properties, click on the target box, go right to the end, press space and add this text:

--fullscreen_width=1680 --fullscreen_height=1050

Then click OK, and when you next load up the game, it should be running at that resolution. (You can change the numbers above to get the game into different resolutions, just depends on what your monitor supports).

i came on to ask the same thing...
scohams solution worked and now i can play the game, cos before it was like i was playing it with a critical error!

Erm, anyone know if i can change it from full screen to windowed mode? I tried unticking the 'Full Screen' box in Preferences but it came up with some error...
