You need to have MCFM version 0.5.0.0

Also, it might generate some kind of error if you use a crack on the game.

We're seriously thinking about pushing for zero-tolerance on cracks in the next (FM 05-06) version by shutting the program down upon crack detection with a warning.

What happens when you try to load the game?

Also, is your game actually loaded when you start MCFM?

I can't remember strangely enough! I don't have a cracked copy of the game to hand to tell you.

I think there's just a red text label which tells you that the game is cracked.

You're missing the point ya cheeky buggers, calling me a thief i downloaded the latest version of mcfm today and loaded my original copy of fm, which incidentally i purchased from game, as my first copy got absolutely wasted by my daughter who decide it was a feckin skateboard! but thats another story.

it says that the version of fm is not currently supported or option 2. the player list is not recognisable, option 3 was the cd crack the solution all your criminal minds thought of first.
i thought it maybe because of the january transfer updates, a less judgmental reply would be appreciated

When trying to use MCFM with the latest release of FM05
the following message occurs:


The version of the currently running
instance of FM2005 could not be determined.
This might be because you installed a patch
which was released later than this version
of MCFM05. MCFM05 will try to work using
the search parameters of the latest known
version at this time.
If MCFM05 does not work correctly, please
visit our website to see if a newer version
of our program was released.


I have installed no patches as I have the
latest version of the game, with all the
latest bug fixes.


clicking OK brings the following osm:

MCFM could not find any players in the
currently running instance of fm05.
This happens in the following situations:

1.You might not have loaded your save game.

2.The current version of Fm is not supported.

3.You are a thieving **** and are running FM
using a cracked executable.

In the first case, load your game and try
again.

In the second case, wait for the next
version of MCFM.

In the third case, don't be so tight
and buy the original and try again.

Now ive done option 1 and my copy is original,
and Mr Atkinson told me that the newest release of
the game is supported, so my diagnosis is yer download is fecked.
unless you can explain better. Cos I aint a thief!

if from the cd, you need to download 5.0.5 from the website & install it, thats what i did and it worked (despite it being built in with it, strange eh?).
