SHP FM05 Update

List of features:-

•Club finances based on real life balances
•European & world rankings changed to their real ones
•Transfers for the major leagues in Europe and many from around the world
•Almost all correct European entries

Due to the rules in the game, it was possible to start with 5 teams in the champions league. It still wanted 3 teams in uefa cup and two in intertoto. So Man City have been added as the extra uefa cup space for coming 8th (behind middlesbourgh) and Tottenham have been given the other intertoto cup spot for coming 9th. I did not feel moving Newcastle to the uefa cup was appropriate, considering they came 14th last season.

•Several players have had their stats changed, e.g. essien, crouch, lampard, gerrard etc.
•Several files for fixtures are also available
•Some club reputations have changed
•European cup colours now reflect the real colours (thanks Planeta Futebol for these)

My thanks for inspiration from all the other updates I have used including Planeta Futebol Update, FM Finland, Robi & Gediz, (information was used from these to help) the FM06 beta demo which provided extra information on club balances & the real fixtures 05/06 thread for the real fixtures.

Other than that, I guess I can say that in Scotland, I am aware that some players were not in the database, and I didn’t know enough about them (just their name) so didn’t create them. In theory it’s the most updated spl though, so the theory goes).

I will say, that I loaded up the prem to take some shots. Many of the top leagues around the world have been updated, obviously these screenshots are from english leagues as that was the one I loaded.

the update was sounding so good until i noticed the team colour wassnt updated which is a shame as most updates havent fixed this apart from fm finland .

newcastle should have a green away kit and a blue with white underneath for the 3rd kit cause they changed both away and 3rd kits for this season

was thinking about it but would take way too long, considering fm 06 is out in three weeks its not worth it, lol

Best update Ive found.

You made some good changes to certain players abilities, you changed the uefa coefficients, good job :thup:

(I have changed some more players though on my own whom I feel were underrated. Gave Messi the same attributes as the fm06 gold demo, he rocks now )

The database for the fm06 gold seems to have some problems now (man utd debt, roy keane injury, cristiano ronaldo and ronaldo (madrid) pace and more. Will you update the database for fm06 after the release?

but man utd are in debt, in real life they are £650 million in debt, in the game they let you off with only £250 million if i remember, i can make an update with their real debt if you want lol.

I could do, I was hopefully going to see if my euro super league idea (with all nation retaining nationality was possible, as it gave tons of errors in 05) first.

afaik, man utd have no debt at all in the gold demo. Apart from that, there are many data errors, (just check the data issue forum).

Im hoping you will make an update for fm06 where you have adressed most of these errors (including changing some attributes).

I dont want to do this myself, since I dont want to know players CA etc.
